Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where the birdies is…
It’s the start of Spring and we wanted to update our loyal Unicorn Games followers with some behind the scenes developments from Unicorn Games HQ.
Australian Kickstarter Order Fulfillment
Since launching the Unicorn Games website we’ve been approached by several Kickstarter projects seeking Australian order fulfillment. As new entrants into the board game space we were surprised to hear that often Kickstarter projects have difficulty sending their awesome goodies to Australian addresses which is why Kickstarter projects often have high shipping costs to Australia and some don’t even ship to our fair country at all!
We’re setting out to change that. Now, in addition to retailing we’re also branching out to help friendly Kickstarter projects by offering low cost order fulfillment whilst maintaining the premium level of service that we feel everyone deserves.
Our pricing is so low that we’ve had dozens of enquiries about our fulfillment services and we’re looking forward to dispatching our first couple of projects in September.
We’ve been working hard on refining our processes to make sure everything runs smoothly when stock arrives as we want Kickstarter creators to have no hesitation in adding Australian shipping to their projects.
Social Media Pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
Patty (our Social Media Guru) has been working on some content for our social media pages and we’re planning some lovely contests and giveaways in the near future. So be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram if you aren’t already.
You can also follow Patty on her own Instagram at @pattyplaysboardgames
Also we’d just like to apologise as we found out recently that our ‘Contact Us’ form got broken with one of the updates to our shopping cart software.
A couple of friendly Unicorn Gamers pointed it out to us and we fixed it pretty quick-smart. If you notice anything that needs updating on the website always feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org where you should get a response pretty quickly from one of us!
For Aussie Board Gamers
Lastly, we want to remind everyone that we’re here for the Australian board game community. So if you’re having any issues finding, buying, or just have board game questions we’d love to hear them so we can ensure that you don’t run into those problems in the future!
